Since then, she has worked for various diabetes organizations, focusing on research, advocacy, and community-building efforts for people with T1D and their loved ones. I am the grandparent of a child who is four, but was diagnosed at 18 months. Within the first month if DX she was on a Tandem pump with diluted insulin and a Dexcom CGM. THE follow app has been indispensable for our family.

I have 2 T1D son’s diagnosed at age 23 months and 4 years old. Both are now 35 and 27. I was diagnosed LADA at the age of 56. And my brother was diagnosed at age 4 now 57.
