Every November, the type 1 diabetes community comes together for National Diabetes Awareness Month to celebrate and support people living with T1D. This year, the T1D community has shown more strength than ever. From adjusting to new routines, to being away from their support systems, people with T1D and their loved ones have been resilient this year, and we want to honor that with you.
Join us in raising awareness this November!
30 Facts in 30 Days
On the T1D Exchange Instagram (@T1DExchange), we will be sharing facts and insights that we have learned from the T1D Exchange Registry. When you see a post that resonates with you, share it on your social media platforms! Be sure to follow @T1DExchange to learn more.
Share Your Voice
Tell us about your type 1 diabetes story on social media throughout November and join the T1D Exchange Registry! The T1D Exchange Registry is a way for you to participate in research that may make a difference in the treatment and care of type 1 diabetes. By confidentially sharing your experiences, you will help create the most comprehensive data set of those diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the United States, advancing meaningful treatment, care, and policy.
Already a member of the Registry? Record a video and tell the world why you joined!
T1D Exchange will be showcasing our participants’ stories on our website and social media channels all month long! Click here to learn more.
Connect with Others on the T1D Exchange Online Community
Share your experiences through our Question of the Day, see the latest T1D news, and build your community of people who know what it’s like to live with T1D or care for someone with T1D.
Give Express Feedback for Good
Starting November 23rd, T1D Exchange is partnering with Express Feedback for Good to fundraise for type 1 diabetes research. Through this program, you can give your quick opinions about different products, services and experiences from brands, and the proceeds will go to T1D Exchange. Keep an eye out for an email with instructions from T1D Exchange later in November!
Support T1D Exchange by Making a Gift
With your gift, you are funding work to improve care delivery in clinics, allow people with T1D to share their voice, and advocate for policy that helps our community, and leads to better, longer lives for all with T1D. Support our Online Community, the Quality Improvement Collaborative and the T1D Exchange Registry.
