Samantha Walsh has lived with type 1 diabetes for over five years since 2017. After her T1D diagnosis, she was eager to give back to the diabetes community. She is the Community and Partner Manager for T1D Exchange and helps to manage the Online Community and recruit for the T1D Exchange Registry. My pump is connected by Bluetooth not cell/wifi to my phone. My phone I put on airplane mode but the Bluetooth and WiFi still on. Just cell off. No need to.
Since using a cgm or pump, I haven’t gone on an airplane. I am not even sure how I would use an airplane mode for my pump. I have never thought of that.
I have not traveled on an airplane in many years.
I put my phone (with Tandem mobile App) into Airplane mode only during takeoff and landing.

This was confusing for me to answer. I chose yes, but it is only my phone. I don’t think it affects my monitoring with Dexcom on Tandem.

I put my mobile phone in airplane mode. I use a Tandem pump and Dexcom 6, I am not aware of airplane mode for them.
My Dexcom G6 switches ti airplane mode with my phone. I have n idea how to switch my Omnipod 5 to airplane mode on the Omnipod 5 controller.
It’s not easy, but it’s there. It’s under settings, general, airplane mode, more.
