Recent advancements in insulin pens have led to the availability of “smart” insulin pens, pen caps, and other attachments with higher tech features compared to standard insulin pens. Do you currently use any of the following smart insulin pens/caps, or smart attachments?

I use an insulin pump.
I have a cap tha displays time since last opened
When I took a pump vacation for over a year, I used the InPen (before it was bought by Medtronic). I was happy to use it since I found it much easier than simply using syringes. But I’m even happier being back on a tandem pump with control IQ.
I’m not using one now, but did use the Medtronic InPen ladt year when taking a break from my pump.
I am trying get on insulin pen
My inpen is a “companion”
Not sure of attachments available ??
I use the InPen since I went back to MDI about three years ago. Give all the information that a pump does. The IOB is the best feature. I love the freedom of not being attached to a pump. As pumps evolve May go back but not right now
Is there a link to an article comparing the technologies? I switched from a pump to pens 4 years ago, and I’m really liking the results- same a1c, not tethered, etc., but I’d really like a convenient dosage tracking system that isn’t my own ad hoc system/ and/or memory. I’d really like to ratchet down my insulin usage more (by eating less) and to do that, knowing how much I actually use is key. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
