I spent $0. The reason being, I live in the UK (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) where I don’t have to pay for ANY of my diabetes-related medications and supplies. These are provided free of charge on our NHS (National Health Service), which is financed via direct taxation of all working people that earn above a given threshold, as determined by our Government.
I didn’t order insulin (would have added $650) if didn’t. Waiting for the price decrease in July. Might have bit myself in butt on that one. On my last vial. Glad I have friends using Novolog nearby just in case.
I dropped insurance since I retired (heading to the VA next “fiscal year.” Insulin and meds via Amazon, already had a pile of pen needles and syringes, and a single doc visit who’s actual charge was just a little more than my copay (am sure he discounted it)/a1C was a whole $15.
All told about $700. Just can’t fall off a ladder until next spring.

I didn’t spend anything unless you count my Medicare and Medicare supplement premiums, which are pretty expensive.
$105 humalog
$105 trujeo
$ 20 InPen
$. 9 pen needles
$249 total
Because I choose MDI would be $0 for pump including insulin on Medicare ugh not fair
reached out of pocket max due to a non-diabetes related operation so my spend was zero

I have Medicare and Anthem supplemental plan G. Zero copays.
it is a good plan if you use the system a lot.

About $200 (sensors + infusion sets copay). I already met $300 deductible with the first order.
