Have you (or your child) ever treated T1D using any therapies other than insulin delivered through injections or an insulin pump? For example, inhalable insulin, type 2 diabetes drugs, etc. Tell us about your experience in the comments!

It took about three months of trying T2D drugs after a yearly checkup without my BG coming down for my GP to test for antibodies and diagnosis of T1D.
I have tried Afrezza and it worked well, but my insurance won’t cover it for ongoing use.
