Algorithm, thaumaturge, or dumb luck. Who cares, as long as the TIR remains TIR? ヽ(o≧ω≦o)ノ
I am using Tandem X2/Dexcom G6 Control IQ, and am happy with the results.
I tried DIY looping but felt like the G5 wasn’t accurate for me to get good results. G6 is better but still often 20 points or more off compared to fingersticks.

I have Medtronic 770 and while the sensors work great for me, I don’t like the algorithm keeping me higher than I like, especially overnight.
Control IQ has been a game changer for me. I had good averages before but often got lows at night. The rate of this w CIQ is greatly reduced. I only get low at night now if I give too much insulin for snacks in the evening- so then it is really my fault.
