I tend to stay under 40 fir breakfast and 45 for lunch on a typical day, but dinner is cooked by my retired husband for his working wife, and I’m happy with whatever is in the menu. He is very supportive so it is always healthy at home. It is going out that gets me.
I do not “aim” to consume any particular amount of carbs within a 24 hour period. Depends on what I am doing – do I need more or less carbs today to meet the active energy demands of my body and psyche for the day? I just keep track of the carbs that I do consume, which typically is about 120 to 130 grams or less, so I can enter the correct amount & type into my pump.
I usually target to eat 135 grams of carbs per day in my 3 meals. If I need more to fend off low BG events or to compensate for extra exercise, I add carbs as needed. At that rate my weight stays stable, which is a good goal for me.
I’ve followed a similar meal plan for the past 45 years: 40 carbs at breakfast, 35 carbs at lunch, 45 carbs at supper. I add extra carbs for exercise (running, biking, work in the yard). So, I figured in the 150-200 range. I don’t understand how the low carb meal plans work. I need lots of carbs to promote my active lifestyle, and vigorous exercise.

Question makes no sense whatsoever.
LOL. I tend to agree. More relevant would be how many grams of carbs a day do you eat.

I eat max 20 grams of carbs per day as part of my LCHF diet. Been doing that for more than 11 years now. T1D since 1981.
Two servings of complex carbs each for breakfast and dinner. Nothing in between. I lost 25 lbs doing this and kept it off for five years.
I try to aim for 45 grams of carbs a meal but don’t always hit it.

I eat relatively low carb most days but do not total them entirely for a day.
