BYRAM IS TGE WORST
I DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS
If only I could get them from a pharmacy – it would save me thousands per year.
For some reason my insurance makes me get the omnipog5 through an in person pharmacy. They don’t keep these in their mail order stock. First time this has happened.
DME: I use Byram and have not had any problems with them; in fact, I think their customer service is great. I’m sorry if others have had problems.
Replied pump manufacturer yet Medicare requires that is a DME
This just changed for me. I have Medicare and use a pump. I am supposed to get insulin under Medicare Part B, but could not find a local supplier last year, so I got an excemption to use Part D and CVS CareMark Mail Order Pharmacy. I changed Part D plans this year and now use OPTUM RX, they refused to fill my insulin prescription. After much negotiating and paperwork, I was able to get my local Walgreens to fill it under Part B. Six vials of Novolog for $55. That is the least that I have paid of insulin in more than 10 years.
I have to go through a pharmacy provider through my insurance pharmacy plan to be covered under my Diabetic Wellness program. I cannot go through medical or durable medical supplies or it is not covered under this program.
Through my insurance company’s online pharmacy.
