I use the omnipod 5. Its awesome but wasn’t a choice. Formerly used the dash version.
Using iAPS with Omnipod Dash for almost three months. I like it.
I currently use the OmiPod 5. Love being tubeless!
I just switched from Medtronic 780G without a CGM to Tandem TSlim and Contro IQ with Dexcom G7. It’s hard giving up control but I went from 75% TIR to 85% pretty quickly. Overnight I am very straight lined. I think I was going low pretty often without the CGM without really noticing. Once I was able to stop looking at the screens, I’ve enjoyed not having to finger stick and be so aware I have T1D. I really like the closed loop system. What I don’t like is all the steps required to load new reservoirs and dealing with syringes, but I’m getting used to it. The Mobi was available to me but I felt it was too new. And I definitely wouldn’t like being tied to my cell phone constantly. I’m gratified to see a large majority are on Tandem. What everyone said in here and on podcasts led me here.
Omnipod 5. It didn’t show on the questions, just the answers. so I picked: Other.
I use a Tandem t:slim x2, but I do not use Basal IQ or Control IQ.
Been on Tandem tslim x2 with Control IQ for four days now. This is my second t:slim, but old one had Basal IQ. Can anyone tell me a good place to get help with Control IQ online or maybe some good Youtubes to watch. I am going low a lot so need some help. Thanks
Check out the Tandem tutorials on their website, I found I needed less insulin on Control IQ, It certainly improved my mornings.
If you are going low check your ratios for basal and bolus I find during warmer weather I need to lower my basal per hour and increase my bolus per carb tweak in small amounts at first to see if it makes a difference I was doing .7 units per hour for basal now I am .5. You can always check with endo and if you need help you can always call tandem their website has many videos on it
I use a MyLife Ypso pump linked to Dexcom 6 CGM with CamAPS FX
DIY Loop using Omnipod Dash pods and sometimes using an old Medtronic pump
I use Tandem t:slim x2 manually. IE: I do not use Control IQ or Basal IQ. I find my control is better doing it on my own.
