  If you had diabetes as a student, did you have a document (like a 504 plan) outlining accommodations and support services at school with T1D?
  Having diabetes in the early 70s there wasn't any such thing I was aware of. Was on my own armed with my trusty roll of life savers, that was the high tech plan in place, a far cry from today's resources

  With my diagnosis summer of 1969 it rendered me ineligible for the draft, that was something to celebrate! I was so afraid to be sent to Vietnam it was a fair trade.

  Frequently for me is 1-2 times a week. Normally my error, too much insulin too much work etc. Can repeat day to day same routine activity wise, same dose and run high one day and low another. I've come to accept such is the life of a diabetic.

  Blessed to never run out of insulin, but I've often had to ration my pump supplies and Dexcom sensors due to processing delays by Doctor or supplier
