  In a typical week, how often are you woken up by your CGM or other diabetes-related alarms (such as, for a low or a high alert)?
  I stopped using Guardian sensor for this very same reason. Also gave up the pump and now use Libre 3 with MDI. Way better sleep, way less expensive and still good control. 86% in range after some trial/error.

  Way to go! All of the equipment necessary to stay alive is too expensive to throw any of it away. I had a pump fail once and the only insulin pen I had was 5 yrs old. It had been in the frig but that expired 5 year old pen saved my life. Celebrating 50 years T1D this year.

  If you have played a competitive sport, did you take any precautions with your T1D-related devices?
  In my youth, when I played sports the only diabetes devices were syringes, test tubes and urine tablets. And I never carried these with me, so the answer is no.

  I only ever changed providers due to incompetence, it took a few tries to find a decent one that understands the condition.

  Yes it can. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin. If you get too much your body stores it, as opposed to water soluble which gets exerted if you have more than your body needs. Look it up😀

  On a scale of 1-5, how satisfied are you with your current T1D healthcare provider? (5 = the most satisfied, 1 = the least satisfied)
  Mine is more like a scribe for the grim reaper…..asking me the same formatted questions for the last 20 years and my answers are the same. After 50 yrs of T1d, I’m pretty self-sufficient except for needing rx refills. I pay a lot of $$$ for this Dr who doesn’t really help with any day to day insulin adjustments and just repeats what the Medtronic sales reps tell him.

  Do you refrigerate your insulin after opening the vial/pen?
  I have never refrigerated the insulin I am currently using. Been doing this since 1974. Cold insulin leaves bumps of insulin under my skin - no thank you!
