  Yes, T1D for 64 years and never had a problem using insulin open and not refrigerated way past 28 days

  I would prefer to have an OmniPod but it's too expensive under Medicare because the company has it under Pharmacy. The cost than puts me into the "donut hole" by March. After that, I have to pay way too much out of pocket. But I have to say I'm very happy with my A1C results with the T slim Tandem IQ But I prefer not having the tubing to deal with.

  I was diagnosed at 3 years - 1960 I didn't see an endocrinologist until around 1991.

  I said I do not do any changes, but of course that depends on what my sugar levels are before and after I swim

  CGM sites, finger pricks, and repeated insulin injections can all cause visible scar tissue. How much visible scar tissue do you have on your body, and does it bother you?
  With this, after 64 years of T1D, doing quite well with little to no scar tissue : )

  It really depends on multiple other factors. How long has it been high or I can't figure out why. Also, it depends on if I've had multiple lows in a short period of time.

  The symptoms I checked do not necessarily happen all with the same hypoglycemic event. I also get what I call "foggy" brain but not confusion. And if my sugar is really low my vision changes to everything looking white.
