  My son has been using Tslim for over five years, Medtronic 530g for five years prior. However, we are awaiting insurance coverage for the ILet, and will switch to that, hopefully, soon.

  This question is a bit ambiguous. Stubborn BG over 250 could be “sticky “ from high fat/protein meal with possible carb count incorrect. Also, trend arrow and rate of change, as well as whether illness is present.

  Many people with T1D talk about having a “stubborn high” when talking about those frustrating instances of high blood sugar that don’t seem to respond how we would like them to, however this phrase means something different to everyone. Which of the following circumstances would you consider a “stubborn high”? Select all that apply to you.
  My son , age eleven, has never “liked” bring over 200 for very long. If after two hours, correction vis pump is not effective, he will ask us to do a correction via syringe.

  Yes. We have two blood ketone meters. We fill script for strips in order to never be without unexpired ones.

  We have a closet in a mud room by our back door where most supplies are kept. We have an exit plan if we needed to leave in a hurry. We also have a fully stocked “medical bag” in our basement with close to a months supply of infusion sets/Cgm supplies/syringes, etc. There is also a fridge down there with extra insulin, and several ice packs in the freezer along with an insulated bag in case power goes out. Our son, now eleven, is very invested in being prepared for disasters.It helps him feel safe. Not what you asked, but…

  If you use an insulin pump, which of these options best describes when you most often change your pump site?
  I answered end of day, but my son showers before dinner, and charges his pump then. After showering, he changes his pump site so that we know it’s working well before bed.
