  I am on yhe Tandem tslim X2 pump and Dexcom G6 and really like it. Medicare has not yet approved the G7 with the Tandem pump. Hopefully soon. I also would like it if Medicare would pay for inhaled insulin to be used along with the pump to bring down stubborn higher blood glucoses.

  Have you ever used inhaled insulin?
  Medicare doesn't pay for inhaled insulin when you are on a pump. It lowers glucose rapidly. Wish I could use it. My friend is in a research study and is having good luck with it.

  I so agree with you! As a dietitian and diabetes educator for many years I heard so many awful comments from peers etc especially about what I can and cannot eat. I hate being called diabetic and have had T1D for 68 years. Thanks for your comments.

Which of the following circumstances would you consider a “stubborn high”? Select all that apply to you.
  It doesn't matter what the blood sugar is if you want it to come down lower and it won't. Could be the food I ate such as fats or the site is bad. Just frustrating.

  I have had more incidents of occlusion with the Tandem x2 pump. Rarely had any problems with my older Medtronic Revel pump.

  I use the Tandem t slim X2 pump that has the option of CIQ but don't use it much unless my bg is going down. It usually runs me too high so I just make corrections etc myself. My TIR and A1c are fine. 68 years T1D.
