Type 1 diabetes will be grabbing the spotlight this weekend! Nick Jonas will be in a commercial for Dexcom airing during the Super Bowl.
This is a huge opportunity for people who are not impacted by T1D to understand just a tiny bit more about this disease, and maybe in the future we’ll all get fewer jokes about our devices from strangers in public.
Check out what Nick had to say about his commercial here

That’s awesome! It’s great to see Nick Jonas bringing attention to Type 1 diabetes on such a huge platform like the Super Bowl. Awareness like this really helps people understand the challenges faced by those living with T1D and hopefully reduces the stigma around it. By the way, for those who enjoy playing Roblox, I recently came across bloxstrap low ping, it’s a useful tool to minimize lag and improve game performance. It tweaks a few settings to ensure smoother gameplay and a better experience overall. Thanks for sharing this post and spreading such positive awareness!
Wow, this is amazing news! Type 1 diabetes definitely deserves the spotlight, and having someone like Nick Jonas talk about Dexcom during the Super Bowl is a huge step forward. So many people still don’t really understand what T1D is or how these devices help, so seeing it on such a big stage will hopefully clear a lot of misconceptions.
Honestly, raising awareness like this can make everyday life easier too — fewer awkward questions, fewer jokes from random strangers, and more understanding overall.
It kind of reminds me of how Minecraft APK introduced millions of players to Redstone — before that, most people didn’t know the basics of circuits or automation, but the game made them curious and informed without even realizing it. Awareness changes everything.
Really excited to see the commercial! Thanks for sharing this — and Nick’s message about it is even better.
