T1DX-QI Learning Session 2022 / CME Information

T1DX-QI 52 Centers Strong: Implementation and Advocacy for Change

We are very excited to partner with Boston University CME office again this year for Continuing Education at the November Learning Session. CME credits will be available for both Monday November 7th and Tuesday November 8th, 2022. All multidisciplinary team members who attend in person and virtual will be able to claim credit for attending.

This two-day activity will include professional talks, breakout presentations, panel discussion and opportunities to share 2022 T1DX-QI accomplishments. There is no cost for attending in person or virtually.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe the future of novel therapies, interventions, quality improvements, and solutions to today’s diabetes care challenges.
  2. Identify gaps in population health needs and state 3 ways that they can provide more equitable care over the next 2 years
  3. Apply the strategies of the T1DX-QI Equity Framework which can help to improve diabetes health outcomes and increase diabetes device access for BIPOC T1D and T2D patients
  4. Discuss expectations for patient care and patient engagement and describe ways to co-design care with patients and family members.

Accreditation Information

CME/CNE credits will be provided to in-person and virtual attendees of the two-day session in Joint-providership with Boston University’s Continuing Medical Education Office. Certificates of credit will be awarded to those that attend the program, register on the BU CME website and complete an evaluation. An email with directions to the certificate claim website(LINK) will be distributed following the meeting.

CME Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Boston University School of Medicine and T1D Exchange. Boston University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

This activity is approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
