  I'm an adult. No followers. I've been doing this for longer than I can remember. I am a really concerned with what happens when I'm no longer able to take care of myself. Honestly, I hope not to reach that stage in life because it looks pretty dreary.

  I use follow to broadcast my BG to my Sugar Pixel alarm and display. I got it after a severe low so I don't sleep through pump alarms.

  Ditto…My endo checks in 3-4 times per year during appointments but otherwise no one follows. I never call him for questions tho.

  Why would I bother my friends or family with my health issues? I’m 80 year old adult, diabetic for 40 years, and I can certainly take care of myself.

  I chose a few times a week, but its more several times a week. I can't say daily, but almost daily.

  This is part of living with a pancreas that is not capable of telling the liver the body needs glucose. If you are keeping BG in tight range smaller adjustments are both proactive and reactive done to manage BG. To look at it as a bad thing is a bit irrational and unrealistic.

  It drives me bonkers in Indiana, we are mostly on the same time zone, but Omnipod insists that leaving Indianapolis, I should switch to US eastern and then back to Indiana time when I return - it's the same time yet if I don't switch, it goes into manual mode and acts like I've committed a dreadful mistake. Then, in the two parts of the state with different time zones, it's the same thing. Surely it could just do it automatically if I set it to. Right omnipod? You could allow that, couldn't you? You are smart enough to figure that out, aren't you?
