  As noted in another comment, I have given myself a 5, recognizing and giving myself credit for balancing all the factors that go into remaining healthy and in range. Although I too am concerned about the meta processes of T1, I am doing well with what I know and apply

  I’ve indicated my overall satisfaction with a 5, without a doubt things could be better with a cure but with the tools and diet that I’m currently on I’m completely satisfied. Happy New Year………🥳🎉

  I put 3. I often think about the other 5 hormones the islets produce. Even with optimized BG & insulin doses we can’t mimic what a healthy pancreas does. We need a cellular treatment to mimic what the islets do.

  I voted No. I still go - but don't fully "participate. If it is a gathering at a restaurant and they have "bottomless coffee cup", I go and enjoy the coffee (good coffee is my indulgence). If it's a party - especially close by in my neighborhood - I attend but go home when it is time for the meal. The neighborhood parties are great fun, with dancing in the living room, so I go back for that part. Since I am not a foodie, missing the food part isn't a big deal.

  I'm would love an oral medication or a complete cure, but I am grateful that the overall care has been improving constantly.
