This morning, Beyond Type 1 announced the launch of GetInsulin.org. This new, critical tool connects people in the United States with diabetes to insulin access options custom to their individual circumstances (location, insurance type, income, prescription etc…). We hope that you’ll help us get the word out.
GetInsulin.org was launched in English and Spanish as a program of Beyond Type 1. The site was built in partnership with the ADA, ADCES, Endocrine Society, JDRF, and The Helmsley Charitable Trust, as well as Feeding America, the NAACP, and the National Hispanic Medical Association. The site was made possible with funding from Lilly, Mylan, Novo Nordisk and Sanofi.
With so many in the US impacted by insulin pricing, we need to ensure that people know what options are available to them now. While we believe in long-term healthcare reform, we also know that today’s reality is that existing programs make up a critical safety net that far too many are unaware of. Our ask is simple: share GetInsullin.org.
