Jewels Doskicz

Jewels Doskicz, a registered nurse with 22 years of clinical experience, is a freelance medical writer and consultant. She and her daughter both live with T1D. As a passionate patient advocate, Jewels draws from her extensive first-hand experience to empower patients with the knowledge they need to live healthfully. Jewels has a special interest in autoimmune disease (particularly T1D), health technology, and treatments that are changing the way diseases are managed. Jewels lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, but she’s often found exploring the West in her VW Eurovan.
