Ann Mungmode, MPH
Ann Mungmode is a committed quality professional with over 10 years of experience supporting organization-wide quality improvement, assurance, and accreditation in public and behavioral health. As the Quality Improvement Program manager at T1D Exchange, she leads quality improvement efforts to improve care for people with type 1 diabetes, serves as the product owner for an innovative data benchmarking platform, and supports health equity initiatives. Prior to joining T1D Exchange, she served as the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager for NFI Massachusetts where she led accreditation preparation activities, managed the agency quality improvement system and supported agency use of data to enhance client experience and outcomes. She led a robust program monitoring process to assure program compliance with agency policies and state regulations, and enhanced agency risk management processes by incorporating statistical process control to monitor trends in critical incidents for NFI's most behaviorally complex clients. Prior to this role, Ms. Mungmode served as the Accreditation and Quality Improvement Coordinator for the Boston Public Health Commission where she coordinated accreditation activities and coached BPHC in improvement projects and tools. Ms. Mungmode holds a Masters in Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science from Ithaca College. She is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
