  My go-to is Skratch chews, which I also use as fuel during exercise. I sometimes carry glucose tabs as well as they are less susceptible to heat. If I'm not as concerned about raising by blood sugar quickly, I sometimes use regular m&ms.

  I carry jellybeans with me in a small plastic bag as these are small and fit in my pockets. Smarties would be preferred as they are faster to digest and smaller, but it's been a while since I've stocked up. If I am in the car or at home other carbs are used: soda, glucose tablets, or dark licorice. If I carried a purse, it would probably be a small resealable container of soda.
