  Meats (Steaks, chicken, pork), Fish (including shellfish), cruciferous vegetables, cheeses, etc. All require no bolus insulin at all for me.

  My husband’s eggplant Parmesan that is not coated. Love it! Any non-starch vegetable like broccoli or squash. Salmon dinner we have with sweet potatoes and squash because we eat it regularly and I just know how to bolus for it.

  Any packaged food which gives you the carbohydrates on the package....but..in all honesty..... Every bolus is challenging because you are guessing at your activity level for the next couple of hours....Deviate => Decimate

  None. Just figure the carbs. Inject before eating. Although for me takes 1.5hrs for Humalog to start working. I take additional 6u-8u H when I eat.
